Gary Waters - California's AB 1 825 Sexual Harassment Training

This class is a must for anyone that conducts business within the state of California.
Beginning in 2005, California's required all companies, regardless of size, to comply with the state's new law pertaining to Sexual Harassment within the workplace.
In this 45 minute primer, we will review the contents of our regular 2 ½ hour training session which covers the requirements of State Law AB 1825 and provides the understanding you need to not just deal with a complaint of sexual harassment, but how to provide a safe work environment free from harassment. This training is especially important as companies are responsible for the actions of contractors, vendors and sales people with whom their employees interact.
Who Should Attend: Anyone who is in either a managerial, supervisor, or lead position OR deals with customer or suppliers.

BIO
Gary Waters is the President of Gary Waters Management Consulting, based in Northern California. Prior to establishing his consulting practice he held various operational positions with companies such as Firestone Tire & Rubber, Masco Corporation, Johnson Controls, and Trim Masters (a Toyota affiliate/Johnson Controls joint venture).

In addition to lean manufacturing, Gary provides training and presentations on such topics as Sexual Harassment, Workplace Violence, and Effectively Communicating as a Leader.

Gary is a graduate of Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. His 35-plus years in the operations arena includes positions as Material Manager, Purchasing Manager, Plant Manager, Technical Support Manager, and as an Internal Consultant.
