Coworking face-to-face
One of the best ways to collaborate is face-to-face. However, so many of us work "remotely" that it's hard to get together with others to work on projects, etc.
A technique that's gaining popularity is "coworking" -- meeting in an office that rents time by the hour, day, etc.
Here in Los Angeles, a new coworking location has opened called Blankspaces. I attended a large networking event/dinner there recently and was surprised at how many ways you could hold a meeting there.
I'm curious if anyone here has used a coworking space, how well it worked, etc.

Virtual office spaces are gaining popularity. Jim Nicholas runs one called Access Business Center. It's a beautiful facility that allows people to get some quiet space to work, or they can rent a conference room for more collaborative work.
I recently came across a group in Chicago that operates in a similar fashion. They work from different people's homes and offices in order to share ideas or just get out of their own environments to foster creativity. You can read about what it is here: www.workatjelly.com. -

There is a facility in the Eastern San Gabriel Valley that is such a place. This facility is all about image. When you work remotely it is hard to get that face to face time with a prospect. And how do you impress that prospect while meeting in a coffee shop. Access Business Center is a high end Executive Suite without the high end prices. You can close that deal in your own High Tech Confernence Room. (yours for an hour or for a day) You can train all your sales reps at once in an elegant environment by using the Training Center.
